There was once a small fishermen’s village, with small houses and narrow streets. The people prayed to St. Nicholas for calm seas and hoped to return home with many fish, as this was their main means of survival…
The small village is now long gone, and so are the fishermen, but St. Nicholas still watches over the sea and blesses the people, who chose the shores of the Black Sea as their home.
